Artists are the forgotten entrepreneurs. To be successful and create a career that they love, they must sell their works, their ideas and their “brand” on a daily basis.

Unfortunately many artists never receive formal business training to equip them with the tools they need to develop a long term career. smArt strives to fill that gap in knowledge.

In partnership with Calgary art galleries, smArt provides expert training and mentorship, and basic training in pricing, marketing and sales. This project provides hands on experience so that young artists can live their dream of a career in the industry.
